I personally prefer reboots; completely scraping the core gameplay and story and making the IP something more relevant to today's gaming market.
It is. It has that old Russian "power of the collective" feel to it, doesn't it?
If they let me steal from the shop owner again in the game, then it is worth $60. If not, $49.99
It will be great as long as I can steal a shovel from the store owner.
This looks like a love letter to Windwaker; I love it!
I would have to agree with you there
Well, maybe it is all in the game but it through a currency that I have either not figured out how to get or to use. But I do know that you can pay for that currency instead of grinding it out for hours upon hours.
I traded mine for a Lynx. Not sure if that was any better.
We'll say Warframe is in the honorable mention slot. I play that myself, but the problem with that game is that it is painfully obvious that a large part of the content has to be paid for. Many of the "warframes" have to be paid for, and that includes many weapons as well. These titles are games that give you most of the content without paying for it. Some actually give it all to you. On this list, paid content is mostly cosmetic and has nothing to do with the gameplay.

I'm personally looking forward to seeing what Bungie will do with Destiny now that they have exclusive control over it. Now, if Activision would just leave Blizzard alone...
If you get him on the Periodic Table of elements then you will have to make him Smash Fighter, right?
Most game developers showcase late in the development, so you are absolutely right about that. For huge titles, however, it seems like they tease it 2 or 3 years prior to its actual trailer release, just to raise hype. Back before the internet used was very much by companies, they would put rough screenshots of projects in gaming magazines to raise hype. I mean, good Lord, Ocarina of Time had screenshots in Nintendo Power magazine 3 years before it was released in 1998. That is the marketing ...
Hey, I'm right with you; it really does seem too good to be true. Apparently, someone believes in them or else they would not have shelled out all of that money.
He's not young Link, or adult Link, or even Toon Link...he's Chibi Link!
