MGS 4 was one of the first games I played For Ps3. Some of the gameplay sequences blew me away. The metal gear battle, split screen fight with raiden and the motorcyle scene were absoutely amazing.
Its funny cause I already did what you suggested. i looked up MG wiki to read up on the back story. Its pretty deep.

I need to check out this series. I havent had my ps3 that long which is nice cause i can pick up exclusives that have been out awhile for pretty cheap. Is the single player pretty good in these games? Cause i need somthin to play right now while i wait for the games I know I want to be released. I've read the reviews but some feedback from real players would be nice.
your right graphics are an added bonus to good gameplay.
I play on 360/ps3 only and am happy with graphics of alot of multiplat titles. I did just finish UC2 and its the best of both worlds to me. It may be the best game I've ever played, gameplay and graphics wise.
And i loved the Orange Box also. I bought it to play HL2 and was suprised by how clever and fun Portal was.
just finished playing uc2 for the first time (played uc1 for the first time right before) and holy shit what an amazing game. ive had my ps3 for a little over a year now and i cant believe i waited this long to play these games.
i wish i was a pc gamer sometimes. just so i could could see certain games in their best form. unfotunately i have a crappy pc that wouldnt play this game on medium settings and i would probably suck with a kb and mouse. Im not even sure i will get this game at all but if i do i guess ill get it on 360.
i enjoyed the game as well. gta4 had certain missions that were epic. greater than any missions in the prevous games. even though it wasnt as fun to screw around on like the previous ones i still thought it was a great game. not perfect by any means but still great.
and it looked nothing like a ps2 game. the graphics were far superior to SA.
i will buy it and probably enjoy it. but its just holding me over til skyrim. thats the rpg im really waiting for.
yeah, graphics arent even a concern to me for this game. its about so much more than that. this game doesnt need to have the best graphics out there to be great. just an added bonus for me.
I might have to wait a bit after release to get this game so i can beat uc3 and Me3 first. cause once i get this i wont be playing anything else for awhile. except maybe BF3 multiplayer.

i borrowed crackdown from a co worker and was suprised how much fun it was. i loved finding orbs. always wanted to play the darkness but never have. maybe someday. so many great games out now for 360 and ps3 it might never happen.

people act like all 360 owners onlywant fps. not me. my favorite games this gen are probably TES and AC series. hopefully alot of 360 owners pick up dark souls when it comes out. more sales will mean maybe MS will start making some good games for us.
