From bad to worse
What the hell
We don’t need new, expensive hardware. Just more great games
This is what you'd call high level narcissism? That's a bit dramatic.
Part of the problem is that they apple-ified the hardware (poorly) and no one thinks the box is cool anymore. Minimalism killed coolness in gaming. PS5 looks like an air purifier, but at least they tried to bring an aesthetic with some mystique. Bring back the green orb & make the console look like it has a v8 in it.
I'm glad everyone here agrees that this is good news. Hoping to see a delay for the RTX 6000 series cards too. We need better optimization in games over anything else.
Jiggle salute for this legend
If you like Halo 1, you're gonna love Halo 1
Bring back the spirit of the OG Xbox. Give us the green plasma aesthetic, with exciting splash screens. Same goes for the air freshener PS5. Ditch the corporate minimalism and make consoles cool again.
I once heard someone call this genre “rollslop”
Dreamcast forever
I'd love to see what Capcom can do with a semi-open "sandbox" RE game
Yeah, 5090 build sounds good.
In some cases, delays are a good thing.
Not anymore. Most of the New Vegas devs are long gone
Thanks to the modding community, you can now play Skyrim and Fallout 4 with friends seamlessly.
Series S won't hold the current gen back. Better graphics is an evolutionary change-- it's relatively easy for developers to load lower res textures and turn down the draw distance, lighting effects, etc. for the Series S. Introducing SSDs is the true revolutionary change that defines the generation. The Series S and X both use the same type of SSD. The Series S is no slouch and will perform just fine at 1080p.
@Obscure You need a snickers bro
Starfield will see a thriving modding community for at least a decade.
