If it helps to shut ignorant, misguided fanboys up then so be it.
Even if the game is good, why's it your job to defend it? Again, if it's THAT awesome, let it speak for itself. Be that through sales or your average Joe friend's opinion.
That's why I said 'these videos'. I don't have a clue what it's going to look like when finished. You, on the other hand, seem certain that it will look stellar. Good for you.
Uncharted 2 is the most graphically pleasing to me, by far.
KZ2's decent but doesn't have that beautiful, popping-from-the-screen vibrance that Uncharted does.
God of War seems incapable to impress me from these videos.
Can everyone just shut up and stop obsessively defending KZ2 as if its their first-born child?!
It's not your responsibility. It's your responsibility to play it. If you feel the game is 'so awesome' perhaps you should let it speak for itself rather than allow a sweeping comment in a newspaper to tear you apart. It honestly defies logic. Go and play the game... oh wait, you haven't done that yet so you have no proof yourself of whether it's better, on a whole, than Gears. I've pu...
No.
The 'in-game' footage looked mediocre, too. + When I say that, I genuinely mean mediocre.
God of War with Uncharted style graphics would be off the chain.
Online create.
Or is that not coming anymore. I rarely play online but it dawned on me recently this would be a very useful feature.
How dare everyone suggest that KZ2 will be the be-all and end-all of gaming without playing it themselves?
I was in both the MP BETA and acted as a single-player BETA tester for the first portion of the game in 2008.
Now what have you got to say? I thought people 'didn't listen to reviews'. Do one.
If it's their view that these games are good and both are very highly played, then why should their review be wrong? Why bother comparing dude?
Call of Overrated 4? Shut the hell up.
There is no doubt in my mind that COD4 will be better in both the multiplayer and single player department than KZ2. Sure, the graphics pale in comparison and the single-player is short... but for the ride you get your money's worth. For £24.99 I got over 4 days play time out of it. If anything that game is underrated because it's the fourth in a series and little kids play it. No game has such a polished online. Sorry to break it to yo...
It's just a moron review. They've clearly given it a lower score than appropriate but it's likely they're more honest when confronting the flaws of the game than, for example, IGN.
Worst. Sarcasm. Ever?
Shut the hell up. You clearly don't have a clue.
I'm getting a little peeved with these installs. Just feels cheap and nasty. Don't really want my HDD being filled with them to the point I'm having to choose which to keep and which to delete.
B.S., for sure. Probably still get this game, mind.
Pretty revolutionary. The shield system as well as the control scheme both deserve props. The fanbase it generated was insane! I think it just found a gap for every market. However, that's not to say I find it particularly entertaining.
Castle Wolfenstein and Doom are the places to go when looking for the real origins of the modern FPS. Graphically speaking they can't hold their own these days but the conventions are all there. Still fun, too.
The two online FPS' I'v...
Why is the cover system hardly ever mentioned? To me it looks like you could play the game without.
By the way, how many times do people have to say 'kill.switch' came before KZ2? That had a cover system.
KZ2 isn't innovative in its single player, but multiplayer looks thoughtfully deep and engrossing. Very few shooters can claim to innovate in such an overcrowded genre. The only ones that come to my mind are Deus-Ex, Half-Life and Bioshock.
Absolutely awesome. A good review, too. Voice acting sounded diabolical to me, so he has a fair point.
Do people think it'll eclipse the, in my opinion, greatest console shooter Call of Duty 4? Obviously in terms of graphics but the online will take some beating. Can anyone who participated in the beta shed some light?
He probably needs to go and revise the 'Three Rs' again.
When disposing of your comment, please refer to post 24 by Squablo.
Sums up all of my ideas, buddy. I actually forgot Home even existed. I challenge you to find a single right-minded person who can argue PSN is superior to XBL. It simply isn't. And guess which one I use?
Anyone disputing the fact there is an abundance of PS3 fanboys on this site just needs to take a look at the Agree/Disagree ratios for 'anti-Sony' comments.
No-one can genuinely deny that XBL is better than PSN, apart from the fact it costs too much. No-one intelligent, anyway.
My first 60GB broke about 7 months in.
The replacement 60GB was broken when it was delivered.
The second replacement 60GB lasted 5 months
The third replacement 80GB is running smoothly.
All fell foul to the 'Yellow Light of Death' - and made me lose all my damned data. All were well ventilated and not left on constantly.
Sony replaced my console out of warranty because I raised an issue with them over the phone. They also gave me a three month accid...
People seem to be forgetting just how good COD4 MP was and simply assuming KZ2 will overtake it.
Although I have high hopes for KZ, I highly doubt it's gonna trump the work of IW. They know exactly how to make a MP game - every aspect of COD4 was perfect.
Judging by the agrees/disagrees it seems it's perfectly fine to say 'I've been waiting ages for this, awesome game!' but if there's any hint of the poster elevating the game above KZ then it's instant condemnation. ...
