Yes, Sony seems to have a better handle on this year both in terms of exclusive titles released and how they're spaced out.
I mean, by your review subheading, you're implying that the game is not worth buying. Yet, you gave it a 7.8. That seems contradictory.
Misread and took GoW as Gears of War. Got really excited for a second.
Well my argument in the article was that art has to be treated as art. A forest is just a forest. If we tear down the forest, it isn't art anymore. Gaming has had this issue of not making old stuff playable (from a legal standpoint). And the lack of care to bring these old titles to the modern day is becoming an increasing problem. Of course, you're more than welcome to read the article if you're curious about some more of the points I make :)
I have to ask, did you read the article?
Well now, you happen to be in luck! You have an article ready to click on right here that might explain some of the reasons why I don't think games are art yet. You're more than welcome to read it rather than read the title and make a comment :)
I'm approving it for the title alone lol
Second paragraph, first and second sentences. "Well, no. At least, not right away."
I think for the most part we can expect a certain amount of change that Hidetaka Miyazaki brings. It might be good, might be bad. But at the very least we can expect it to be competently made, after looking at the past 2 games spearheaded by him.
It's a fine game by itself. It's just bad as a sequel.
The PS4 actually has some coming out. Xbone's just got Halo and a Dance Revolution game.
Problem with that is there's no feedback from the game, so if you swung at a guy with a lightsaber and he blocked the attack, your arm would still go flying in real life, but would be stopped in-game, leaving the player confused as to what just happened and the game code confused as to what to do with what you're arm just attempted to do post-block.
