Yeah, I think the reviewer is a bit exaggerating with the wave fights. If you are trying to tell me fighting against wave of dumb Ais that can be easily dispatched by either interrupting their animations or instant killing them with your gravity attack, then I'm sorry but what VR action games have you even played lol. Even the bosses are either easy qtes or boring sword waggles. Just by looking at other people playing it on youtube gives off the same feeling when you play the game: bored ...

Definitely lol

No wonder Winking didn't want to be associated with the game anymore. As someone who actually went and bought the game, I was both annoyed and disappointed with what I got.

Why were you downvoted? You have the right to be disappointed, because I also expected much better for the game. In fact, almost everyone on the PSVR community agree that it's bad.

I've played some bad games on the PSVR but none of them were as buggy as Reborn. I couldn't even managed to complete the 3rd stage because the boss always got stuck, while the actual final boss always one shots you. Doesn't help much when blocking and slashing don't always reg...

So you're fine if the opponent wrecks your team with Saitama huh?

Honestly, it's no wonder that they have a separate mode where you fight with other players without Saitama. I'll wait for with One's Justice 2 thank you vert much, and if someone out there disagrees with me, then downvote this comment just gonna prove my point.

If you thought the game was going to be good just because it looked stylish or because Sony was backing it up, then sadly you're not the only one, and this game isn't the only of its kind. The same can be said with most chinese games released on the PS4. They persuade you into think the game looks good, onlyfor you to play it and realise how barebones it is.

If you thought it was going to be good just because how good the trailer was or because Sony was part of it, then your disappointment is deserving imo.

I'm not trying to sound like a jerk but I thought the game ending up like this was expected. First off, the early impressions were mixed. Second, only Sony Asia wanted to work on the game, not Europe or America. Third, this is Hexadrive's actual first "Triple-A" that they made. Fourth, Oasis Games was invol...

I'm with you there on Monkey King. I think it looks good, albeit the movement looks somewhat slow.

Although I just want to say that, in regards to your and Rangerman's comment on Gene Rain, I really hated that game lol. The gunplay really just felt off with only one weapon feeling somewhat decent. The abilities were almost never useful, enemies were damage sponges even on easy difficulty, the bosses were terrible (especially the final boss with its weak payoff and t...

I don't know why you got disliked. You actually have a point since there were interviews about the developers in regards to the game's future.

If you're referring to Chamber of Time, I thought that game was alright. Not perfect by any means but the story was enjoyable enough to warrant a full playthrough. PvP was very pointless though but it's an anime game so what did I expect? If Bandai ever plans to make another beat em up LWA game, I do hope they hire A-Plus Games now that they have enough experience.

Of course, seeing how stingy Bandai is with its anime licensed properties, the worst case scenario wou...

Agreed. The game did recieve a patch so to give the devs some credit, they kinda tried their best. I mostly put the blame on Square.

Sword and Fairy 6 should be here just for how unplayable that game was. A mediocrw game is one thing but one that's a technical mess is unexcusable, especially for a port of a 3 year old PC game. At least some of the games on the list that I have played like Left Alive and Anthem were playable.

That's great that you liked the game but not everyone is a fan of the series, and even then I met a few fans of the show that were either disappointed or neutral with the game. I personally thought the game was decent though that's peobably because I only spent $40 on the steam version and not $50 on the PS4. And as far as beatem up RPGs go, I still kinda prefer Dragon's Crown but that's just my opinion, and so is Rangerman's opinion on the game :)

Loved the Little Witch Academia anime. Will be definitely getting this, though I do hope the content is enough to justify its price, because I'm kinda tired of overpriced VR tech demos.

If the game is atleast fun and has its own identity, then I don't mind it being a Nier clone.

Excited to see where this will go. Hopefully China Hero will help China rightfully find their footing on the console market. Not to mention that I'm already getting tired of the chinese mobile knock offs like Legacy of Discord, Heroes Arena and Mafia City. Their work on PC is decent though. Bladed Fury, Sword and Fairy, and Birth Memory are my favorites so far.

This. While it's true that not every chinese games has been a huge hit (unless if we're including those mobile games that usually sometimes includes stolen assets like Legacy of Discord or such), these developers clearly show that they are competent enough to make games, even if some of them are terrible, like the aforementioned Gene Rain. Seriously, I would have forgiven all the flaws of that game if it wasn't for the price.

Still, is mostly due to how video g...

I played the game. Thought it was okay but the controls and camera are sluggish. There's no auto nor manual save, which is a big issue if you want to leave the game and load where you left off. There were also some bugs and crashes mentioned by critics and users who played the game. I haven't encountered any crashes but I did found a bug or two. A lot of these issues can be easily fixed with a patch but I don't know if the devs will ever decide on fixing it or not.

Yep. In 2016, the PS4 got Hardware Rivals as its first PS4 exclusive, and it didn't do so well. That still didn't mean games like Odin Sphere, Uncharted 4 and Ratchet and Clank turned out terrible. Just let time fly and hope for the best.

At least Xbox One got Ashen, which was great.

I don't think Vane was terrible. At its best, it was just average. I liked the visuals and some puzzles but the camera and controls prevented the experience from being great.

Can't help but feel like some people are solely defending this game solely because it looks pretty. I thought gameplay and story were the important parts of a game.

But is it as bad as Weeping Doll?
