I do apologise for infuriating you with the title of the article. Other sites as well as ours have use the term for similar pieces, but I've certainly taken your critiques on board and I'll ensure we use a different name going forward. As I said, I do apologise and we never intended to piss anyone off with our terminology.
Hey MilkMan, thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed the review and the game. It certainly was not what I expected going into the game, as the few trailers shown did not actually showcase much straight gameplay. I feel this actually was a bonus for the game as I really didn't know what to expect in each level.
When a game is near unplayable it rightfully gains the score it has. As I said in the review, I enjoyed the premise and the ideas that are there are great. But the product itself is not the standard we as gamers should be contempt with upon release, let alone weeks after launch.
Hey mate, thanks for posting. The issue is the game is barely playable, there are a lot of good ideas here and as I said in the review I love the premise. But when I'm walking through the environment and the entire game vanishes for a good 30 seconds, before I fall through the map and die (dozens of times mind you) that is a fatal flaw.
Great premise or not, if they want to release a product in this form they will receive scores like this. Maybe in a few months down the...
@Optimus. Yeah the bow combat is still the highlight for me, all the other weaponry just doesn't satisfy like the bow does. Later on when you literally have half a dozen enemies running at you, regardless of stealth, the weak gun play definitely creeps into view much clearer.
Yeah if you played the last one, you will be right at home from the start. Most of the game systems are identical to the 2013 release.
It's certainly a good game, the tombs are an excellent combination of storytelling and platforming; certainly a stronger platforming experience than during combat.
I'd say the previous entry in the series is stronger overall, but Rise of the Tomb Raider certainly has its moments.
I know someone in Australia who cannot download the game at the moment. They rang Sony and were told it's "random" as to who can download the game before launch or not...which totally sounded like someone who either didn't have a clue, or was simply making an excuse to cover the glitch.
This was announced a while back, the new information is the release date.
They did a fantastic job.
I can see your point, I never played the original multiplayer features myself. But aside from visual improvements, gameplay itself feels a lot smoother. But I can certainly agree that if you want extras aside from the campaigns, then perhaps this isn't for you.
Worth the wait. Here's hope the waiting goes fast :)
Agreed, a perfect way to get excited for Uncharted 4.
A sad day where we have to have this confirmed; it should just be assumed and never happen.
Agreed, surprised it took this long for a developer to utilise it this well.
Isn't this like a month old?

I got that trophy legitimate. Literally got that one before unlocking every item. If you stay in defense and don't attack the ball it will take a lot longer.
Yeah, I was planning to play this today...so this sucks lol.
I don't dislike The Order, I just don't love it to death. I have no reason to try and start a flame war on a game (I express within the write up) that I'd actually love to see expanded on in a sequel.
All good mate, I've altered the name to The AA Analysis. Happy you at least found the article to he a good read.
Thanks for the advice :)
