Even if you ignore Rogue Corps, this headline is all kinds of wrong. There have been around 10 - 15 Contra games since 1992. Clickbait headlines get no clicks here.
Am I missing something here? There are not new. The 256gb is part of the 2019 range, there was a range of licensed cards for Switch that even predate this to probably 2017. SKNR? Site Knows Nothing (about) Research.
That preview of the article was a difficult read. Apparently video game stores came out (err.. what?) and everyone was so excited (yes factual info right there). And yes, everyone would RATHER have digital RATHER than physical for the reason of being able to re-download?! What planet does this author live on? Yep, the physical market is crashing because people can "re-download" digital copies. That's exactly it. Get this author a job analysing all of the markets.
Im sorry, but how can you allow this article to appear here - it's the daily star who are quoting an ONLINE CASINO'S link infested "Study". Get out of here with your ridiculous approval system.
Because if they were cheaper than in store, the stores would get p*ssed and probably not stock the physical versions for that particular publisher any more. think about when Game Pass came out, how many retailers stated that they would no longer be stocking Xbox games in protest. Same thing homies. Same darn thing.
Another terrible review from someone who claims to know about shmup genre games but actually doesn't. Also refers to Sine Mora as Sin Mora.
This article claims there are 40 games on Stadia? The author has literally counted Red Dead II 4 times. Clown. There's 26 games.
Reviewer, do you realise the point of a shmup? You seem to have entirely missed the fact that it is a score based genre. Also "I am not quite sure if there’s a point bonus or not for using normal bullets versus summons" How about finding out? I get that you don't play shmups, but perhaps be a little more educated in this regard.
Nintendo brought the demo back? Did the demo nip out for something and forget to come home? I mean, on all other consoles and platforms demos exist... Are Nintendo getting brownie points for doing something which is the norm in all other areas of gaming AGAIN? Due to the clickbaity headline and content this article is about, I will moan here, not giving the author the clickthrough, because OMFG, Nintendo did a thing everyone else does.
If anyone is interested, I'm think...
Seriously, it isn't.
This is absolutely one of the stupidest articles I've ever read.
"These buttons — hidden out of sight unless the Joy-Cons are detached — epitomize the Switch’s versatility" The very same button operations are carried out with the (when undocked) now functionless R/L & ZR/ZL.
So what is being said is this is so great because there are hidden buttons for functionality which is amazing... but fails to state that they are a necessity because when undocked, sud...
This really isn't the best of articles. There are far greater issues with Anthem than missing PvP... such as the abysmal load times - the rubber-banding when it loads you in way behind your team, causing ANOTHER load time, the constant missing textures / pop-in. That's just to name a few. Sure, these things will probably be ironed out, but the game is now fully released for premium Access payers, and it is in an unacceptable state.
I'm thinking I need to buy the Paddle / Trackball controller for some Golden Tee Golf PC emulation.
