Agreed, I dont get why people are excited over this, theres like 4 or 5 games worth getting and while the prices are good for most of the games this is no better than the Ultimate Game Sale MS had last week which had some good deals but on games that were super popular and not likely to get bought in mass.

XBL has had more problems than usual but its not even close, PSN goes down way too much and its not acceptable when you have to pay to play online now.
Personally I think PS+ games more than make up for it but PSN isnt a free service anymore and needs to stop being treated as such by Sony, upgrade your damn infrastructure.
I have a PS4 and Xbox One, the XB1 does not need re-branded. Its doing very well and Phil Spencer has done a lot to erase the mistakes made before he took charge. Just because the PS4 is on a record pace sales wise does not mean the XB1 is doing bad.

I dont know what some of you are talking about. If you look at the very last PS3 trailer shown for The Last Guardian it looks absolutely no different on PS4's new trailer with the exception of PS4 having a higher resolution.
That being said TLG is one of my most anticipated games so I dont give a shit what it looks like its getting bought day 1. Doesnt change the fact that for a game delayed as long as this one, graphically it looks very weak.
The Wii U is a failure for 2 main reasons. #1 being no 3rd party support. #2 The console is weak compared to the competition and while thats not a huge deal it prevents many games from appearing on the platform even if they had the 3rd party support.

I agree, too many limitations and to many variables with latency, frame rates, and resolution. Not to mention too many ISP's still have bandwidth data caps, could you imagine how much bandwidth it would take to stream every game you play? A couple months ago MS said they were approaching 10 million shipped to retailers so I would assume at this point they have sold nearly 10 million to customers. At that time a couple months ago stores had no reason to have large stock on the shelves it wasnt the Holiday season yet. So if MS was approaching 10 shipped they were probably within 250k-500k of that number sold to customers.

These numbers are way off they have to be. MS announced earlier they were approaching 10 million units shipped to stores. If you assume that at that point a month or 2 ago when they said it that MS had shipped even a low estimate of 9 million to stores then they would have sold most of those because at that time of the year there was no reason to have a large supply of consoles on store shelves. Now they sold over 1 million consoles in November which I would say at least puts them at or close...

Yes XB1 has a stronger CPU, it also has better coherent bandwidth by 33% but that still doesnt change the fact that the PS4 is the more powerful machine.
