I had one of these and it absolutely slapped. Emulation on it mixed with the controller buttons was awesome. If I remember correctly it had decent, louder than average stereo speakers as well. Unfortunately the phone failed because the analogue sticks absolutely sucked and Sony didn't support it with playstation software. Similar story to the Vita, Sony just don't seem to understand what should be incredibly simple.

I'm actually really annoyed about the desire to block this deal from happening. Innovation from Sony will only come from pressure, not complacancy. As far as I can tell Sony have no AAA FPS series anymore like Resistance or Killzone (correct me if I'm wrong) and that's completely their own doing. Doesn't seem real... People in the UK were fighting to get Wiis at one point, literally everyone I knew had one. I know this is almost certainly correct it just seems unbelievable.

People forget we used to pay £80 for Sega Megadrive games at one point 🤣. They also forgot we've been paying the same price for games since the PS2 gen even though budgets have skyrocketed for devs.

Last time I bought a switch there weren't many good games available, and I wasn't even slightly in the mood for Breath of the Assassin's Creed. The buttons were too small as well, the whole experience just felt unfinished. If things have changed I'll be interested though.
