Hopefully Arnold makes a cameo in this, I can't wait.
This is actually a really interesting article and there's great insight as to how Bioware coped with the EA acquisition. The point that the article is ultimately making here is that Bioware should have stayed an independent entity, making fewer games but at higher quality standard.
This guy is not even relevant anymore. Why do so many care what he even thinks?
I enjoyed Crysis 3, the multiplayer is fantastic. But I found the campaign to be lacking, especially in the awful writing and cliché ending.
Assassin's Creed III was good but not great, it could have benefited from a few more months of development time to ensure that it was the numbered sequel so many of us desired. Ubisfoft needs to bring this annualization of the franchise to a halt. It's simply unpractical on both sides of the spectrum. The developers are forced through rushed schedules which almost guarantees an unpolished product and the consumer as a result receives an inferior product.
I love it how if one does not say something that construes their opinion towards Sony, they're down voted. To blindly loyal to any company is ridiculous.
I'd personally love to see an open world James Bond game done by Rockstar. Now that would be intriguing.
I actually think this more or less has to do with the lack of productivity among these certain individuals. As scathing as that sounds, it doesn't sound too far fetched. Working at place like Valve must be extremely demanding, and if you're no pulling your own weight, especially in a flat management structure, you're out the door. Simple as that.
Agreed, especially this level.
I honestly thought that Gearbox rose above and redeemed themselves with Borderlands 2 after that train wreck that was Duke Nukem Forever. Unfortunately, it seems that they try to work on too many projects at once, which causes projects like Aliens to be subject to less-talented outsourcing developers. At the end of the day, they are putting their name on the game and after six years of development, it's inexcusable that they couldn't pry together some resources to make this game a tru...
It's really too bad so many are down on this game, I personally can't wait to play it. Insomniac is an extremely talented developer and I'm sure they will indeed deliver. And to everyone who keeps going on about Overstrike, remember there was never any footage shown for that version of the game, so please stop making all of these assumptions about how the game supposedly was. Insomniac owns the IP, end of story.
I think some of you should just give the game the benefit of the doubt until a demo is released.
I don't know why everyone seems to be bad-mouthing Insomniac on this one. The game is looking quite good actually. Insomniac owns the IP and they obviously know what they're doing with it. And I would stop blaming EA on the "change," they've mentioned numerous times that Overstike was going in the wrong direction and it was changed due to internal decisions.
Running on a high-end PC, Crysis 3 will look phenomenal. But here's the issue, I want the game to actually run well on 360 and PS3. Crytek needs to abandon that 30fps half the time philosophy. Crysis 2 looked great, but it suffered in the frame-rate department quite a bit.
I agree! People seem to ignore the fact that the game was still more "open" than 90% of the other shooters on the market.
There is no possible way that's going to happen. The only thing that could foreseeably happen would be a Halo 2 remaster. But Halo 5? That's just the circumstance of a website's pathetic attempt to score hits.
There is no lead platform for GTA V,

Bethesda should have made a separate SKU for the PS3 version of Skyrim, not just a lazy port to the PS3.
Bethesda should include all of the DLC in a package and sell it for a discounted price. It's absolutely ridiculous that it's taken this long. The ambiguity on their end has only made things worse.
Quite possibly, especially since the game has been in development for quite a while.
I can't wait for this game.
