Not soon enough. I wanted the option of new consoles last year. I do however wonder how much consoles will be like PCs in the upcoming gen. Can't say yet if it's good or bad. Because sometimes less is more. Even this website has examples of less being more attractive than more.
The cost of gaming in 2013 will be high for all type of gamers that can't live without new tech.
Really, the big budget games are expaning to include more game types to get more sales. That's great for some, not all.
I respect your comment. Most of the people here are setting real goals and achieving them. I feel good about where I am at. It is clear that the word achievment is used with a different meaning on this website.
The war that is upcoming soon is something I will happily live with. I'll be placeing the battle contenders under my TV.

I'm a Xbox fanboy at heart, and I'm also impressed by what Sony is doing. Overall, I want my games from somewhere.
Please, please reset all gamerscores to zero. For the sake of us that didn't play "King Kong" for achivement points.
I don't want any one to carry over that shame with them (even if they want to) I do believe that there is a time to move on from one gamerscore to the next one.
If they don't reset it, fine, I'll have my points but I feel that it doesn't represent what has been done on your new system alone.
If this goes through, THEN, I personally would like to have each game not to be system tied (or system locked) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Then I can rent my games for a weekend without any issues affecting play. By buying used games, I already know that my days for playing those games are limited without further $$ for unlocks. I can lend out games on those days and borrow games on those days without buying a unlock code. Yep, 3 days of the week for used game playing, which will ease...

The battery packs are one of my favorite things about the MS controller. Count me "in".
I also believe MS kinda promised not to have a high failure rate with the upcoming box.

PGR3 had 5 levels of difficulity per car class on each race. That was perfect for me.
Anything is better than Need For Speed Shift charging $3. for a single car.

I will love to see a huge Xbox price cut. And reading about it here will be even better. Say what you will but I buy my systems for games.
