Just give me that sweet, sweet Booster Gold action and I'll be SO in. Superboy would be my other dream character, but I know he has no chance :'(
I know I'm in the minority, but I like the new gear thing. It's a meaningful progression system, something that I feel has always been lacking in fighters because they are so focused on competitive play.
The first Injustice did have the banner and icon things that you could unlock and customize, but I always forgot about those. Having costume pieces sounds really cool, and I'll definitely put in a ton of matches with my favorite heroes just to unlock new stuff for them. ...
Gonna have to come back here after after my first go. I'm a sucker for stuff like this
Combat needs depth. So sick of Spidey game after Spidey game coming out with a half-baked Arkham ripped system.
Pretty confident Insomniac won't make something that isn't fun, though. They can't mess this up.
I like the property. PT was just a thing, Resident Evil is a franchise.
The article above starts talking about capturing the lightning in a bottle from PT. I like Resident Evil more than I like the random horror property. The IDEA of that appeals to me more: it's "better for me"
Resident Evil 7 is even better than PT for me! Can't wait to try the demo for myself tonight
I think Days Gone totally stole Dead Rising's thunder!
VR will represent a huge paradigm shift in gaming, yes.
You compare it to the Wii, and I think VR is very different because of its breadth of applications. VR is going to be a thing. It will exist as an entertainment platform in the future. For really the first time ever, games are serving as a proof of concept for this new technology. Games are proving VR works. It's early now, but I expect VR to be similar to dual analog sticks in terms of their effect on the gaming landscape. ...
I think the relationship between movies and games is closer than you think. I would be careful about comparing the amount of money made from both products too. The way movie's make money is so different from games and extends far beyond their initial release.
Max makes good stuff and writes great female characters, as a fan, I tend to think he's probably right here.
I'm looking forward to the inevitable showing of gameplay at E3. I want to get a closer look at the options you have in combat, I'm hoping there are opportunities to be creative with what you can do.
I am so hyped for Injustice 2. Give me some new characters and the same cinematic kind of story as the first game and I'm in
Agreed on inFamous. Would also really like Mass Effect games (never got a chance to play)
I feel similarly, for me to really get hooked by a big open world game, it almost has to be the perfect storm of my interests. I really liked the witcher 3, but I didn't spene that much time with it and I think it was only because I don't really care for the fantasy setting all that much.
Overwatch is the first multiplayer-centric game I've really enjoyed, and after putting so many hours into that, I have no idea what I want anymore haha
I've never played a DI game so I was thinking about picking this up
Lifetime is too long for anything. People make mistakes, especially in a game with such a kid-friendly aesthetic.
Their batman game will pull me in no matter what :/ haha
Honestly so sick of telltale's clunky engine I don't know if I can make myself play anything from them until it's fixed
Never forget being on the playground reading the booklet to Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked because I had been anticipating it forever haha
