Don't be fooled by Xbox One's price it should be $350 not $400, PS4 have a mid level GPU while X1 have entry level GPU, it doesn't make sense why they are both $400 when PS4 has a more expensive GPU.
$400 xbox one would not make a huge impact cause ps4 will always hold superior version of multiplatforms.

The thing is even if Sony sticks with the default performance its still 30%-40% more powerful than a optimized xbox one. Software upgrades can only do so little. :)
