Rockstar are the kings at urban open world development. I have never seen this kind of detail in any other sandbox game. Can't wait until next year!
While the PlayStation 3 version may look a bit softer, you will NEVER notice this when the game is in motion. I haven't been excited about a Sonic game since Sonic CD....can't wait until Tuesday! I'll probably pick it up on the PlayStation 3 since it was the lead platform.
Wow...these visuals are a bit lackluster for being Frostbite 2. And what's up with the PS3 version running in letterbox? It handled BF3 just fine.
Lol! Oops! Nice catch bubblemachine. . :)
I'd like to see them do something with drop-in/drop-out co-op throughout the campaign. That would be so much fun to play with friends.
I love when developers have the balls to say which version is visually/technically superior. I wish more dev's would speak up.
Wow, Xbox 360 wins hands down. :)
But seriously, those textures are PS2 era.
While the zombie modes are fun in the MW's, the genre is getting a bit played out. Why not change it up a bit with a robot apocalypse or alien invasion? Hell, I'd be down for some dinosaurs at this point. Let's give the zombies a break. :)
That was pretty cool. It would be nice if iw put zombie mode mw3.
They are going up against MW3 this holiday season and if they want to be a lasting contender in the FPS multiplayer arena (both personal and tournament level) they need a strong, polished release.
This game is going to be sick!
I can see where they are coming from, AAA takes big bucks and it is a huge gamble for new franchises. Just look at how Enslaved turned out, it had abysmal sales. This is why I am really enjoying more and more indie and niche games nowadays, they aren't afraid of trying new things and they generally choose an art style that doesn't require a AAA budget.
I saw Folklore at Target the other day for $14 and was so tempted to pick it up. I am going to have to see if it is still there. :)
Worms did have some good destructible environments. haha. But seriously, Worms 3D was pretty impressive to proceduraly destroy all 3D environment models.
God damn why arn't people talking about this. It looks like such a good game!
I completely agree. Eidos did development the right way, in parrallel. None of this porting crap.
I have been following this mod for CryENGINE 2 for a while and I am still impressed by it to this day. I really hope that now the CryENGINE 3 SDK is available to all, that we will start to see indies and other developers create games outside of the FPS genre.
Wow, I remember when EA said that...kinda sounds childish now that I look at it that way.
Picking up Catherine for sure, but Warhammer 40k: Kill Team looks like a lot of fun. Gonna check the demo for sure.
That's the thing I don't like about metacritic is they pick and choose reviews and they are generally from mainstream sites.
I kinda wish that N4G had a better organization of the meta scores where I could see a list of all titles and not have to hunt for a specific one.
