My son's going to hate me when I buy this game and tell him he can't play it LOL. This is one rated M game he won't be touching.
I've bought 2 PS3's - the second one because my first one got YLOD. I plan to buy a 3rd regardless of whether my slim ceases to function or not as I want to be able to play my PS3 games for as long as possible.
Seriously, true gamers enjoy more than one genre of games. My daughter will love Knack.

At this point, I've abandoned Nintendo when it comes to consoles. Don't have a WiiU and won't be getting one - this will be the first Nintendo console I won't own, I've had all the others.
Now, for handheld, I'm really excited about the 3DS and the games they showed at E3 for that.
PS4 and 3DS = my dream combo. LOL.
It's still anti-consumer. What if I don't want to add external and have yet another device hooked to something in my entertainment system. I should have the ability to swap it out with a 1TB drive if I want, especially since all games, digital or physical, are stored on the hard drive.
And, when the hard drive fails, then you have no choice but to attach an external one.
