Picked up Borderlands GOTY edition. $20, no brainer...great game.
if you don't already have this game, get this it's a no brainer. Original price of this GOTY edition is $100 and you get it for $20. Awesome game, has online co-op, will keep you entertained for many many many hours.
And, it has a code to download Duke Nukem demo.
please, the so-called co-op is trash on that game.

I've got way too many games I haven't finished yet and more games I plan on buying. I don't want a new console.
My 60GB model has YLOD 3 times now, with the 3rd happening just last night. I've fixed it myself the first 2 times. Guess I'll just get a new one now.
how 'bout I support myself and buy it new when it goes down in price or used if I want and not caring about what rich entity get richer retailers, developers, or publishers.
I RARELY pay $60 for a game.
Pass. Waiting for Resistance 3 and Battlefield 3. In the meantime, got Dragon Age to occupy my time.

With a few exceptions, the Wii is good for 1st-party games. Other than that, it pretty much sucks for the reasons already mentioned (no HD, online bad, friend codes, etc.). In addition to 1st-party, I do like to play Zac & Wiki and RE: Darkside Chronicles which I can't play on other consoles.
this is great, although I already back up all my games saves to an SD card. But, Dragon Age Origins won't let me copy my game save so I think I need to subscribe finally to Plus.
there are some good youtube videos showing how to take apart, re-apply some thermal grease to the CPU and GPU and put it back together. I did that the first time and it was good for about 6 weeks. I ordered some better grease (Arctic Silver) to use this time around so if that doesn't work, I'll just buy a new one.
Even though there's no way to know this, it'd be interesting to know how many unique purchases of PS3s there have been versus people/households who have purchased more than one.
I've had my original 60GB since the beginning (now with a 500GB drive) and it has YLOD'd twice now. If I can't fix it a second time I will be buying my second PS3 to help pump up the sales numbers :)
I friggin love PS3 exclusives.
I'm probably in the minority but I like the Resistance series better than Killzone.
r u getting YLOD? Don't have time to link it but find the youtube videos that show fixing YLOD. My ps3 got it and I followed the videos and was able to fix it myself.
