Some people don't play online. They just want to fight a couple rounds, beat bison, little ending story, and that's it. It's like a sense of accomplishing something. That's why I like arcade mode.
The novelty will wear off. Only the dedicated will continue to play. Casual people will catch at least 50 Pokemon then realize they are done. They are not walking anymore to catch the same critter over and over.
I hope they have a sale on characters and stages like half price or something . 100,000 points is very hard to aquire. Especially if you have finished all story modes and easy&normal survival modes.
