Sad how things worked out for this one.
Indeed. :(
Quite a few people care, actually. :)
Awesome news! I can't wait for this game.. think I'm gonna have to pick up the first one in the Steam sale.
Ugh.. yeah. It's really tough to talk about these issues in a sensitive and appropriate manner. We posted something about a Pride march in Guild Wars 2 yesterday and I was very careful to make sure it didn't become anything more than just sharing a nice piece of news, you know? It is tough to find that balance, though, and you've gotta be careful lest you come off like.. well.. this.
Holy crap that's a lot of money. It's so easy to think of "online gaming" as just MMOs but when you take MOBAs, arena shooters, card games, etc.etc. into account, you start getting into crazy figures. It's pretty incredible really. :D
This is the most random news I've seen in a while..
Ha I sucked at melee when I played.
Interesting. Don't think I'd heard of this one yet.
They don't bother me in the slightest because they're cheap and only give you cosmetic items. Everything you need to play the game fully is included with a purchase of the game. :)
This exactly. I mean, I play Blizzard games. Not exclusively or even religiously but I've played WoW for years now and Overwatch just wasn't appealing to me for the longest time. Until I tried it. I am an MMO/RPG gamer, so the fact that a multiplayer shooter of this kind has its hooks in me says a lot.
Yeah this one's.. interesting. It could be fun, but for some reason leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'll give it a chance though, before judging.
For me, it needs to feel quality. If I spend money and don't regret it afterwards, then there's value for money in there. If it doesn't have a decent amount of content it needs good replayability. It needs polish, and if it MUST have micro-transactions, they better be optional. If it ticks all of these boxes then I'm pretty easy to please. If it's not something that appeals to me, I won't spend the money.
Thank you!
"Frostbite and Friends" or no deal. :p
And likely inspired many of its successors OSTs too.
It happens. So long as it's ready in time for the live servers. :D
Gonna have to check it out. Still have Wildstar installed.
I really want this game to succeed, it looks so awesome!
I thought folk who purchased a Founder's Pack do get the game? Just those who had keys gifted from a friend who don't?
