I haven't heard of the game myself....
Even the writer of the article didn't suggest consoles would replace PCs.

Read the update/ comment the writer made... He addressed some of the issues you guys have. The $7,000 thing had NOTHING to do with what else he said, if he had said $2500 his point would still stand.
How were they cheap? They're fight just the same as any character except that they're two people to control! And even then, when you kill either one, their ability pretty much goes away.
For ALL game systems, not just the 360.
Metroid Prime 3, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Super Mario Galaxy, Halo 3, etc. etc... For most of us, this year will boil down to more than just Mass Effect and Bioshock.
It requires an SM3.0 video card, which means that some cards (Radeon x850 and lower) can't run it. I actually have an x800 and no 360, so I find myself missing out on what could be the defining game experience of the year...

They're fundamentally different experiences. Look at Metroid Prime 2 v. Halo 2- Halo had like an 8 hour campaign, Metroid Prime 2 had like a 30 hr campaign (I think). MP is almost about puzzle solving first and shooting second, you can't say the same for Halo.
Metroid Prime is very single-player centric, whereas Halo is a balance of single and multiplayer elements. There's no way you can justify the statement that Halo is like Metroid's singleplayer with a multiplayer elemen...

Sorry, I'm a bit dizzy from reading the 2nd most positive review I have ever read (next to Ocarina of Time) on IGN about BioShock... I think that singleplayer gaming is an experience that has not been and cannot be replaced by multiplayer. If multiplayer was left out to create a more robust and enjoyable experience in singleplayer, then so be it.

The Wii is a great product, just face it. If IGN thinks it's the best version, and if you're a Madden/Football fan, why not go buy the better version. And you can say that IGN is biased, but you know what? Your biased. I'm sure you already knew...

First of, I'd like to point out HandShandy (what a weird name....) is that there are lots of people, in fact more people, who own the Wii, and would be easily ready to defend the console they think is fantastic.
