ive played every gundam game, and have not played one i liked, im a big fan of most Gundam anime series and believe if someone got it right, it would be awesome. However only 1 person has and it wasn't gundam, this ZOE game which i purchased only for the metal gear solid demo, yes, thats how i started to love this series. I started playing and loved every min, despite the first with a kid in the seat. ZOE2 was bought without hesitation on launch and again blew me away.

and i hope it stays that way, FF13 was horrible, if you liked it, you tolerated it for being FF... As for FF7, if square soft was doing it, i would be all for it, since its square-enix, i hope they stay far from the idea. IF you can't make a simple town, which many rpgs have shown in HD, don't attempt or fathom the idea and ruin ff7.

classic/flash mini games appeal to people who have lives, those who work 40+ hrs a week, have family, who occasionally like to play games. These games need to be small and quick to finish as 90 % of the time, we have something to do and can't spend the 40 hrs trying to finish a game. It's nice to be a kid/teen with no worries but homework and games, but there's a point you have to grow up and can't spend the hours finishing a Final Fantasy style game.
yes logically they wouldn't have to update, so shouldn't effect them. I def agree with why they wouldn't need access to psn in the first place. But like any PC/Mac, the ps3 gets updates, some might be useful. So there has to be away to update without removing the Linux support. Sony said themselves when announcing the removal of Linux, an O/S was made separate for government or anyone using ps3 as a supercomputer. I doubt they had psn access in the first place.
The government and anyone using the ps3 for whatever use have a special O/S so the Linux support wont be removed with update. But this is always conveniently left out to make the article sound like all those PS3 the government bought and whomever just wasted money. I download MW2 map pack when it comes out, i tell my friends, they log into my id, and download too, but to a max of 5 people can do this. My ID has to stay on their ps3, otherwise content just like XBL cant be accessed of course. They log back into their orignal IDs and we all play and use the content together online.

as HD-dvd was not taking off at all, alot of consumers were "waiting" for the next thing after hd-dvd as not everyone can afford to keep up to date with all the new tech coming out almost every year and stuck with dvd. I guarantee the next format wont due well, but the one after will prob dominate.

Granted I didn't use Linux on my ps3 as I have a computer, why would I need to use that feature, but what if that jerk off hacks his way through some glitch in the backward compatibility of the ps3, and then another update we have to agree with, Sony is forcing you to do an update you don't want, and if you don't you can't play online, let alone some games that check trophy information as soon as you start, guess what, those prob won'...
