Though I do enjoy titles with some sort of episodic nature involved. I guess DLC is an extent to my favorable premise towards software, but doesn't always translate well for developers (imo, of course).
I'm more interested in how well the title plays (which seems very Vita/3DS-esque, with a few added bonuses).
Paying $60 for a new game, isn't something I can do very often (once you factor in living expenses, of course). Why do you believe people enjoy steam so much? There're sales (deals on games) like almost every other day.
Next thing you know: "Welcome to freemium play! each hour cost a dollar!"
I realized that it was a title I could never get into.
I just don't (for the majority of the time) agree with his opinions. He's well educated, and works long work hours (I respect his admission for higher learning).
Like I said - I disagree with his opinions, but I respect him as a person (people belittle him way too often).
From what I saw of Miiverse: it looks like a great feature to connect people together. Friendcodes are gone (which was the NDS/Wii's main problem), and Nintendo's reserving 512mb just for the Wii U's OS!
I understand your concern, but I believe Nintendo learned enough from their NDS/Wii era.
Not all gamers hold a personal bias towards Sony (though you're right about what you said - to a certain extent). Ask the majority of people who frequent N4G; "Which gaming company do you detest the most out of the big 3?" most will say Nintendo, because they hate the Wii, they believe the 3DS is a joke of a handheld, and I'll reiterate what PopRock359 said:"People will take usually false or remedial details about the Wii U, and exaggerate it."

Love the, "Dat..." face xD.
Though the Xbox 360 isn't popular in Asia (Whereas the PS3 is), and the PSP sold amazingly in Europe when it launched. Smart phones and Tablets are the hot commodities now, and the European market for gaming, has dwindled down from the highs of the PSP/NDS era.
Brand fans will always support their product of choice - it's the newcomers (blue ocean market/casuals) that really push product sales. In this day and age - there's a lot more competition besides what ga...
At least the conversations are more civilized :P.
Must be innuendo related :P.
I got the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack not too long ago (it comes with the $129 Wii bundle, along with NSMBW [no gamecube support, though] game), and it's freakin' amazing!
I can only imagine what the Zelda one will be like.
Though I'm waiting for the 3DS XL model.
Will Wii U supporters eat pie, while Wii U doubters eat crow, or vice versa?
Stay tuned :P.
PC only developers, might give the Wii U a chance.
Wii all want it! xd
You gotta expand upon your market, unless you want some other company steppin' over your toes, and eatin' your lunch (like Sony did to Sega).
But I digress.
Nintendo will have tons of support for their console, this time around. If not from the big AAA game producers, then indie developers will surely flock to the console.
Why is that? remember those game engines they licenced from Havok? Welp, it's free to whomever chooses to develop on the Wii U (which is a huge incentive).
It's just an avalanche effect of misfortune commencing for the Zynga company.
Didn't Michael Pachter praise this company in the beginning, and said that they (Zynga) would bring death to tyrants (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony)?
