They should focus on investing and supporting good (in terms of quality and general consumer interest) and profitable exclusives only.
Some examples of what happened with the following studios and their games this year:
- Bigbig studios were closed after making Little Deviants
- Zipper interactive were closed after making Unit 13
- Studio Liverpool were closed after Wipeout 2048

I believe this game will sell no more than 200k (worldwide) copies from release until next year. And will mosy likely have a metacrtic score of no more than 75%. This, LBP:Karting and wonderbook are releasing in the worst possible windows (for any relevant sales or market awareness), and will be totally crushed in sales and forgotten about due to the heavy hitter multiplat releases, wiiU and Halo 4.
Well at least Sony have actually innovated in something this gen....by being the absolute number one company at producing the worst advertising imaginable.
