I like Red Orchestra HOS, I don't think this is for casual COD players, but do have a go once you get the taste you'll get hooked, took me a few hours before I got into the first RO online.
That because consoles are holding back PC gaming as console only do DX9 and most devs work on consoles first and sadly port to PC when it used to be the other way, win for consoles loss for PC unless its a good dev that still cares about PC gaming. The only good thing now is that you can update your PC every 3 years + rather than every year lol
Love my PC's for lot of reasons Steam, Mods,, FPS so on , love my PS3 for exclusives U2, R2, Motorstorm,GT5 ect enjoy the odd game on the 360, whats the best depends on your choice for me the PC edges it.
I'm glad that Crysis is on consoles now so everyone knows why PC gamers still go on about it, great game enjoy.
Point is you dont need mega bucks to enjoy PC gaming, if you have the money for these things great its your money.
PC gaming £500 to £2000 to suit your own budget, my self i3 cpu ,GTX460 and 8 gb ram no problem playing any current game (Crysis 2 DX11 HiRes pack)thats with a £500 budget, end of the day its your cash spend the way you want.

I see what you are saying, but PC gamers are a different animal all together than a console gamer. My self I have access to most gaming platforms in my home and being PC\PS3 gamer I prefer PC for FPS and RPG, the PS3 for exclusives and racing & action games and yes the PS3 \360 are easier most part " pop in and play " the PC the same mostly if looked after and kept upto date with drivers etc the other thing that makes the PC apart is mods, SDK's, editors a kind of freedom th...
Resident Evil 2 had 2 discs and was their a game called Fear Effect that had multi disks sure their was others on the PS1.

I play mostly play exclusives on the PS3 apart from BAA and AC2, same with most friends as well, they either own PS3\360 or PC\PS3 or PC\360 or all platforms but mostly they play exclusives on the PS3.
Were will it all end lol does'nt bother me either way, but it might put a few casual gamers off, and believe me theirs a few in my work that never play above medium let a lone easy and theirs 1 bloke he's never finished a PS3 game from launch, hard to believe and he's bought a good few games, King of casual gamers lol
Think that might be a good idea ,I played BF3 Alpha played great, just had weird problems with Origin so I deleted it. It seems you now need Origin to play BF3 even with a retail copy even SP and now I here theirs no in game browser now this, what next ? ,I'll just leave this game at launch to see how it pans out.
Lets face it DNF was an average game at best, sven though I enjoyed it maybe out of nostalgia not sure lol so for God sake don't mess this one up either do a proper remake or drag it screaming to the 21rst century.
lol can see your point, but thats why alot of servers end up empty : ( just say for example running about with a PPSH\MP40 us a Kar98 or if that good a pistol for a while lol just an idea in Public fun servers gloves off in Hardcore\Clan servers, just need to keep folk playing and interested I can remember the first time playing Quake\UT lol no mercy talk about a harsh lesson seen a few friends fall to the wayside.

Its all PS3 fanboys here don't think so theirs a strong 360 lobby here as well, oh and the odd PC fanboys. Theirs nothing wrong with loyalty to Sony\MS\Ninty as long its not blind, but once you start dishing others as you mention your a fanboy. In my own time after work and family I play games on PC\PS3 and on 360 as well, when my son not playing with friends. Real gamers play games for the games and if its on the one console or multi consoles so, whether the games are Indie FPS, RPG, RTS...
lol bit extreme sniper rifles banned from MP FPS least some PC MP servers can limit the number of snipers. Does sniper not camp by nature.
