He makes some absolutely terrible points...and some good points.
Kinect does not feel any different than say navigating the menu on Operation:Creature Feature, which I did years ago.

I'm sorry, but I love Bayonetta. The voice acting was intentionally cheesy. It was hilarious! The music was ridiculous too. That's what I love about it. Despite having the most complex and fun combo system out there, it rarely took itself seriously.
However, God of War III is one of the best games ever made. Nothing has ever been that epic. It was a masterpiece.

The more limited a person is with his or her tools, the more creative they tend to be. That's why 2D side-scrollers have been phenomenal lately. Braid is one of my favorites.
I don't think any genre will ever be "outdated". While I prefer RPG's with real-time action (Kingdom Hearts, White Knight Chronicles), most RPG fans still prefer turn-based.
I just feel that it cuts into the illusion. I don't want to run up to a bad guy, sword in hand...only to have him stand there while I hit him...and then, he does the same thing to me. That's just stupid. I'm not sure why people like turn-based.
