I've been worried about this game for a while, cuz not only do I love Factor 5, I love dragons, so when you put your hands together, pretty big boners all around. But the initial gameplay videos seemed a little wonky. With the God of War-esque slow-moments added in, it seems to have smoothed things out a lot. I love the idea that the ground troops battle outcome isn't determined either. It's like piloting a dragon in Lord of the Rings. So oh-some. I hope everything stays smooth for release.
I agree it looks like fun guys, and you're right to defend it against people who say it looks like crap, which it obviously doesn't. But, can we not agree that it doesn't seem to have grown very much? The most important part about Halo 1 (the best game in the series) was the single player. I pray Bungie can nail that this time. I just don't know how much juice they have left in 'em.
Everybody should keep in mind this is from a very early tech demo, which is probably only rendering Picadilly Circus. The actual game may look nothing like this. I have a PS3 and I'm not dissing it.. I just think there's a little too much speculation. I wish Sony would just throw us a goddamned bone. Have a Sony event or something...
That's hilarious... "Our bar is for it to be as good as Halo 2... hopefully better." That's usually a good way to go with a sequel, guys! Man, I got a bad feeling about this game after the major let-down that was Halo 2.
