Who cares how many people would have noticed it? Are you new to games? Go back and look at how many old games have easter eggs that weren't discovered until a decade after they released. This tiny detail isn't going to affect this game in any major way regarding performance. So, again, who cares? Every game has something people don't notice. Incredibly moot point.

Why do people still take game reviewers seriously? When they review a game poorly that you like, you find a reason to try to discredit them. When they review a game you don't want to like, it's completely unbiased and justified. I can name at least 5 games that have come out in the past decade that scored poorly but were phenomenal games, and I'm sure any other reasonable gamer can do the same.

Just because you haven't played a game that does the things BoTW does doesn't mean they're new. I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that.

They didn't say it saved the Switch indefinitely, but you can't argue that it hasn't saved the Switch at its launch.
You have to be joking, right? Zelda is the only game worth buying on the Switch. There are some other gems (Fast Rmx, 1-2 Switch) but they're definitely not console sellers.
@blitz The console would have been DOA if it weren't for Zelda. This isn't hard to figure out.
How is Sony competing with Nintendo? Nintendo will never reach the amount of consoles Sony has sold, they don't really target the same audiences, not to mention Sony has numerous critically acclaimed games released for the PS4. The Switch has one. Nintendo is far from a competitor right now. It's like saying a college football player is competing with an NFL player because they're both playing the same sport at a high level.

It's definitely nostalgia, but that doesn't mean the game is bad, though. It's a terrific game, but it's not this revolutionary, groundbreaking piece of perfection like critics would make it out to be. I loved the game and thought it was pretty refreshing. I also didn't experience terrible pop-ins when playing in handheld, but after beating it I did go back to playing Bloodborne. I did the same after beating Horizon.
