Correct. Sony didn't need to make some super new powerful console. PS4 is a massive success that is consistently selling well. PS4Pro is a upgraded system during mid console cycle. Nothing wrong with that. Xbox One has clearly lost to PS4 sales wise this gen, though not a failure by any means. I agree that it's a RE game first and foremost. Haven't beaten the game yet but damn I'm really enjoying it. Atmosphere is killer. Probably my favorite setting in series. Don't think I like it more than 1,2,3 and 4 but it's great nonetheless. In fact only thing I would say negatively about it is I don't think it has the replayabilty those other games had. But as far as a first time through it's right up there with those games.

If and when I get a Switch I'll be getting this. Did same for WiiU. Probably would prefer playing games like Zelda with a standard controller. But damn it's expensive!
Sequels weren't as good as original in my opinion. Even though the third game has Jean Reno in it! But it's more than time for a new one. Even if they had an outside studio do it. They did that with DmC. Regardless it's time for new Onimusha!

Didn't Nintendo NEED to blow us away? WiiU sold approximately 13 million units. I would think you'd come out swinging with your next console after that failure. Onimusha, Tenchu, and Souls series. But it's also its own thing with its fighting stances and Ki system. Really cool game. All the different equipment and weapons are awesome. Tough game but stick with it and you'll get the hang of it. Definitely highly recommend you check it out.
Going to be bad ass regardless what you're playing it on! Just beat the demo! Very hard but so awesome! Not as solid or refined as the Soul series in my opinion but really enjoy it. Definitely reminds me of some games I loved playing on my PS1 and PS2 like Tenchu and Onimusha. Love the different fighting stances and the way Ki works. Can't wait for the game to come out.

Just doesn't seem like they planned there launch too well. $299 with no game bundled (looking at you 1/2 Switch!) super expensive accessories($70 pro controller!) I'm rooting for them but damn! Come on Nintendo!!!!!
WiiU was a failure. But I did enjoy some great exclusives, though there weren't many. Hopefully Switch can turn this ship around. First year is looking thin but hopefully E3 they show some big titles. METROID please!!!

I haven't gotten one myself because my TV input is 1080p. So it's a hell of an investment. I'm saving for the TV because 4k and beyond is the current future of gaming. But yea $400 bucks for an upgrade, if you have the TV, is a damn good deal.
