if you have a 4k TV the difference (on enhanced games) is huge, I love my x - worth very penny

been playing this game for at least 3.5 years and loving it
in the good old days 48K was more than enough to have a huge and fun game, now that wouldnt be enough to render in play characters eyeball. How times have changed :)
I mostly agree with you, but one cant just live on bread alone, a gaming system can give you much needed enjoyment (and some distraction from the hard realities of day to day life) in harder times (depending of course if you can afford the initial cost and a game or two).
Mind you living in the UK - i feel we get a bit ripped off compared to USA etc (they pay much less for their consoles then we do)
should poorer countries get some sort of discount? i think so, 300 - 400 Euros is a lot of money to many a Spanish family, i suspect most will miss out on next gen!

Are RPG's big in China? when i spent 6 months out there last year, most of the people (I spoke to) who game'd played puzzle games, they didnt seem interested in RPG's.

Cultural revolution at work, the Chinese still think video games make corrupt young minds, and thus the very high asking price to discourage people from buying! To be honest i am amazed Sony even got a foot hold in China considering the history between these two countries!
