The games are available on GP for a year. If there are games you want to own and continue playing after they're gone then buy them at the discount price.
If you want to own a game you still can, $10 a month for access to hundreds of games on most of your devices is a pretty good deal.

But maybe I will jump ship and go for an XSX , I've never liked sony exclusives anyway and I've got my eye on Starfield . My only hesitation would be my playstation library.
