My old 40gb even in hot weather makes no sound, if the room is silent u can hear the 120gb wd clicking on and off but its still as quiet as a laptop.
I am no bioshock expert altho I had two copies of it and the platinum trophy, but didn't the guy who did the story most of the designs and most of the script say he wants nothing to do with the 2nd one!? maybe i am wrong but that sounds like all the best bits of bioshock.
