Graphics are great and all but I'm more focused on the little things in a game. The way the characters interact with the environment, certain gestures/activities trigger a conversation, petting a horse, non-essential npc's taking a finer interest to who you are and what you're doing, the way you bleed in certain situations.
The small things in a game are what bring us closer, make us feel like we are actually playing in a living, breathing world. I love immersio...
You serious? They just offered up Hitman Absolution free. You want a free game that you don't have already? Then just wait it out, I've bought a lot of games after waiting for PS+ to offer them up only to be one up'd when I find out said games I just bought are now free!
If you have patience you shall be rewarded greatly. Now I just need to learn it myself. lol!
Anyway, it's your own fault if you find no value. They aren't forcing yo...
Yea....so that's why they moved Ryse, DR3, etc over to the bone exclusively and totally forgot about the 360 during the conference.
Nice M$
True gamers play games.
Hope so, going to be there this year and I'm expecting a lot. Can't wait!
why don't we wait to compare launch titles after ALL exclusives have been revealed. We still have Gamescom and TGS ladies and gentlemen. I, for one, am super excited for GC..mainly because I'M ATTENDING FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!
Yea, really couldn't hold it in. :D
Good...good.
They just need to start supporting it better with games!! Games like tearaway and gravity rush are two great examples of what can sell the vita to the public...the vita needs more like those. Price cut couldn't hurt either. :P
Dead Space was creepy as hell. Scary? Some parts yes, but you can't tell me you didn't get goosebumps every time you heard something start to fall in the distance as the sound echoed all throughout the ship. Best use of surround sound yet.
Hunting rifle in the snowy town. Made many a people rage quit. As soon as match begins, if your on the lower end near the trailer, run to the house on the right, climb up and take position to snipe. I've ended so many lives in the first seconds of the game that way, funniest thing ever.
MP was a lot of fun, haven't had this much fun trophy hunting for an online MP trophy in a long time...not since Resistance 2.
Have not given up on AGENT since it was announced. I was rewarded with FFXV, and KH3, so I'm more than hopeful that AGENT is still around and planning a release on PS4.
Think they should write an article about the Bone, hoping it won't have the same problems that plagued the 360 for so many years.
My fat PS3 died on my after 5 years and even then I was given a replacement of the same model for $100. Refurbished or not it looked brand new. Now I just display her while my slim get's all the attention. ;P
@Zee
Right there with ya man. They're milking GoW like they do with every franchise it seems nowadays. I'm a huge fan of GoW, but come on guys, let's get to making something else for a bit. It's seriously hard to top GoWIII imo, so everything after is going to feel less epic.
AGENT anyone?
Not trying to be smart but I was really excited for a Rockstar PS3/4 exclusive. Would like to know where the hell that went.
Gman:
Think RRoD was more of a slap in the face than the hack, that and it took them how long to fix it and how long did they deny anything was wrong? RRoD cost people more money than a hack ever could have, guarantee you others weren't so lucky like you. Oh, and it was never stated that Sony apologized from the get go, it was over a period of time...just like how I expect MS to be.
Brand loyalty is fun eh? All these evil corporations turning us agai...
@Gman:
No, Sony is far from being angels but at least they tried to right their wrongs. Sony admitted they were wrong and have changed, MS can't even bring themselves to say they screwed up DRM and always online.
Nobodies perfect but I've seen more effort from Sony to appease their fans from past and present mistakes than from MS. This is one of my main reasons I refuse to support MS in any way, at least until they get their sh*t together.
LaChance:
Eyecandy doesn't sell games, gameplay does. Unless you enjoy polished garbage, then go for it.
@Kanzes:
You just described LBP....the only difference is that LBP is a side scroller and Spark is open world/sandbox.
I'd say I would use the button quite a lot actually. There have been moments where I've either owned in multiplayer or had a major fail that I thought would be great to show friends but never had the tools to.
Can't say for sure how it's implemented exactly but it sounds pretty awesome. I'm more intrigued on how one is able to play another friends game online to help with a certain area he/she may be stuck in.
I'll be there firsthand to see for myself, can't freaking wait!
