cant wait to get the wiiU if these specs that are floating around the net are correct its gonna be more powerfull than the PS3 AND 360 COMBINED, now if u ask me id say thats a pretty powerfull console, roll on 2012 till this baby comes out true 1080p and visuals not possible with either of the current gen HD systems
yes external hdd's is the way to go along with sd, also usb storage can be used, there is no need for internal hdd's at all in the console

who cares about an HDD? i dont HDD'S are a thing of the past and are not reliable and solid state is not afforadable, blu-ray? £10 in tesco's if u want one i want my console for gaming.

there is no panic i would say realy at the end of the day specs are not that important to boast about because that is the easy part, all the tech is there it just has to be put in the box, its innovation like the second screen that is important if u ask me
they have to try and hit hard with the vita there is no way there gonna reveal the ps4 and kill vita momentum, main focus in 2012 is selling vitas for sony

wiiU dosent have to house an HDD either which takes up a good bit of room and you also have to leave enough room around for it to breath aswell , we all know how hot they get, so this will keep size way down for the wiiU
you will get a chance when the wiiU arrives only it will be allot more capable than the ps3 will, just hold your horses not long now

unless it has something new and innovative i couldent care less,throwing a pile of memory hdd and boasting about how powerfull it is just wont cut it, then on top of that it will probably have a stupid price tag.
i will just throw more upgrades at my pc instead and probably get a wii U and could still possibly have change left if sony hit with a £500 tag again like before
