Just log on before the maintenance and you will still be able to play online.
Conquest mode(64 players)is where you get the rubber-banding. The new servers have seemed to address the issue although.
You can turn the music off.
Got 2 controllers. First one there was a little shrerdding on the left stick, 2nd one has the same issue. Nothing major though, stick performs/looks fine. The left analog stick on my first one broke although, it wouldn't allow me to sprint.
Can't wait to see some gameplay!

It would be cool to see Gears on PS but would PS fans really want the 5th installment of a franchise on their system? Well...I guess more games is never a bad thing. No loss for me although, as I will be purchasing an xbox one once Halo 5 releases. Keep calm and game on.
I have 2 controllers. The rubber on the left stick(1st controller) is shredding a little bit but has not cracked. My second controller has no signs of ware. Keep in mind that I've been playing my PS4 almost daily since launch.
