Xbox isn't accepted worldwide so US sales possibly, everywhere else not a chance. Xbox only led one generation and that's because they released early, I'm getting the Scorpio because I'm a fan but realistically MS has some type of stigma about them outside the US that they can't seem to get over.
After 4 years if you can't afford $500 somethings wrong....

You guys need to get a grip on the reality of business, none of these companies would push forward with any of this stuff if the majority of gamers weren't buying it. I know you see a few single player titles out there sell a couple million copies but that pales in comparison to GTA, Fifa, COD etc. Don't blame businesses for trying to capitalize on what the current environment is blame your fellow gamer.
Don't twist the guys words because he doesn't like your list of JRPG's thats what they are right? That whole list is nothing but that that's why Sony's game library is so much bigger.

These guys hate Xbox but its looking like Xbox and Steam should be the new model for releases...
These companies have the data that shows people buy this stuff why do you think they are in every game, thank the gamers who complain and than go buy the MT's themselves.

Everybody complains then goes and buys the stuff, how do you think they became so prevalent in games today? NBA 2k18 for instance I have yet to here of somebody buying the standard edition like me everybody wants the 200,000VC to start off with.
I think Nier did well because it went to PC as well which would be a smart move for any developer. I just want to know why Xbox gets so much hate when these games don't sell on it's platform?
Let's just call it what it is Xbox no matter what they release doesn't have the worldwide appeal. In the territories that like Xbox, Sony's lead isn't very big Xbox still does quite well only having a couple territories with a few sprinkled in worldwide. If we are all being honest Xbox has the best feature rich console but since Sony has the majority people have the blinders on.
It just seems like that's to hard to comprehend for some, I bought the Xbox for the online hopefully bring online PC games over experience.
