I don't know that BC2 is a better game. It was fun, and really interesting at the time. But do you really want to go back to having MCOMs that can be sniped by tanks from spawn? Or have UAV's covered in c4 one-shotting you from orbit?
I think there is a bit of a BC2 nostalgia movement afoot because people have gotten down on BF3, but part of my point is that BF3 did actually address a lot of what was exploitable or annoying about games like BC2, yet we as players ...
Interesting point about Metro (I assume you mean the CQ version). It is a bit funny that a game featuring attack helicopters has, as its most popular map, a tunnel with low ceilings. It's hard to say exactly what that means about the game in general, but there's no doubt that Metro is the functional equivalent of an achievement map (remember those from TF2?)
