im really surprised that this game came out in europe before the US release (its usually the other way around) but the GT series is more popular in europe so i guess thats why

it ships with 7 maps actually, and you have to remember they also have to make the DLC (and socom confrontation is supposed to have a HELL of alot of DLC)

socom may *technically* be a shooter, but there are a few things that separate it from the competition, one it requires tactics to win, it isnt run and gun like COD4 or halo, and two, socom confrontation is online only
i think you got it backwards, KZ2 is the one that has to prove itself, we already know resistance 2 is gonna own cuz R1 was already awesome
it hasnt even been confirmed that KZ2 is coming out in september
