as awesome and luxurious that this gen of gaming has been to us all...
the internet side of console gaming is creating tons of problems for gamers...
Internet provided DLC by devs who released their game 1/2 a$$ed to get more than a $60 price tag out of you for their game...
Internet provided system updates that ALWAYS create bad batches of consoles once installed (goes for any console)
I just don't know man... so much this gen has p...
I'd rather get a PS4 and Xbox 720...
but I bet Apple would give Sony a run for sleakest looking console... as of now PS3 has no competition!
its just I wish more PS3 games pushed this kinda fidelity... I can, in my opinion... hold all the WORTHY to own PS3 titles all in 1 hand... I hope this kinda stuff really picks up.
and I still prefer Halo's online wayyyy more. Mainly cause it offers way more game modes than KZ2!
I own Killzone 2 and honestly wasn't wowed by anything but the visuals, and that luster wore off after the demo I had gotten for preordering it.
This game to me succeeded in graphics and missed out on everything else... I was let down personally!
Heavy Rain also will not work even with my PS3 unplugged from the internet... so it's left unplayable...
please, someone tell me my 60gig isn't shooting the sh!t...

My PS3 won't connect to PSN at all...
I cannot play Heavy Rain because the trophies won't sync up so the game won't even boot!
My Kratos Slurpee theme, Heavy Rain Theme, and other themes were all found to be corrupted and I had lost them...

I own a PS3 and 360. I love my PS3 and I like my 360. Both have awesome exclusives (graphics don't change this). Does my PS3 make me want to forget about my 360? never!
I don't think it's executed yet to what it eventually will be...
but eventually all things we know affiliated with gaming has to and will elvolve... and in that regard gaming with controllers will become the long lost fad!
My bloody valentine and Final Destination 4 were both terrible movies from the get go (FD4 did have some good gore though)... but the way the 3D was forced in those movies made the concept totally corny and horrible. The way Avatar utilized it was the proper way, just letting a movie play out naturally but just in 3D... that's the way it needs to be!...
But I agree with a few comments I see in here, 3D executed with glasses is an old past time... 3D is something that is needing...
install base between 360 and PS3... also the fact 360's online is paid for while PS3's is free...
I've actually wondered how/if Sonys free online strategy puts a strain on devs...
would suck if this is caused by Sony and effects MS's gamers...

I bet they are panicing somewhat... I wonder what the odds are of actually playing in a fully maxed out match, after the game releases... pretty much makes the playing field look somewhat obsolete to me!
how does it control and play? also how well has the damage modeling come along? haven't heard that addressed in a LONG time...
My eye candy has long been satisfyed... what about the deeper more meaningful portion of the game?... the gameplay
and with the superior graphics/physics quality of my fav. PS3 franchise ever = Uncharted 1&2... it's a slap in the face they don't get overwhelming sales.... more blood, sweat, and tears are poured into PS3 titles than 360s (from what I own and play on both consoles). I just feel it's an injustice to PS3 exclusives...
honestly Sony is so far ahead graphically that MS isn't catching up this gen AT ALL. Still don't mean that the games won't be amazing to play. I have Alan Wake preordered already, but sadly I really wish MS kept the Gears finally for the next console... as I feel it would be an injustice to end it all on 1 console. Would also be smart to keep Gears 3 as a launch title for the next Xbox, as we know the series is only a trilogy (or so they say)... they didn't rush to move Halo 3 on Xbox... but ...
god forbid ONLY MS was willing to pay them off in god only knows how much money to get those games exclusive, not MS's fault Sony didn't make offers. The day and age where the console name alone brought loyalty are over as production prices etc.. are rising, devs. are trying to find ways to break even... and even possibly to allocate funds to other games due out. I don't see a problem with it.
