Im totally with you Mista. I know I may seem to dislike the Wii U. But in all actuality I just feel they haven't revealed enough console/game info to pull me in yet. All your concerns are exactly what I have for the console!
The impact will be miniscule to say the least, this isn't as bad as copying dvd based games!

The first time my aunt was in the room when my cousin was playing his new copy of COD4 and my aunt heard the words/language my cousin was hearing through the tv (no 360 headset)... she was totally p!ssed she even bought my cousin the game at all!
This game makes me feel that special feeling that only Bioshock has been able to give me this gen!
Im $8 in the hole from renting this game from redbox and that's enough to feel ripped off in my opinion!
This franchise has got NO old school magic anymore that made the franchise good, they just rely on the characters that old school fans WERE connected with!
NO WAYYYYY has Infinate lost the dark atmosphere... I like the new direction because darkness is ALL AROUND YOU in a almost cartoony vibrant fun looking city!
I REALLY REALLY want the Ultimate Songbird Edition as I've got the Original CE for BS1...
only thing that has me worried about the Ultimate Songbird Edition is how will the figure be packaged? cause tons of Big Daddys got broke when shipping the Original CE's. I don't want to be down and out of a sweet looking figure... because it was shipped roughly!...
This is 1 of extremely few games that truely sparks that incredible urge to need the CE's ...
I noticed this 1 disc 360 crap when I rented RE6... garbage game but I just wanted to see for myself and it was cheapest to rent it. But it's showing that DVD really has outworn its stay in gaming!
Hardcore Gamers LOVE graphics because it's been known that the Hardcore Consoles come equiped with the Graphics!
Awesome graphics DON'T make a game, but Graphics raise the bar of immersion in the titles for the console... can you imagine Gears of War, God of War, Uncharted, Last of Us, Heavy Rain, etc.. to use Wii/Mii graphics this gen?
Those games Would've turned out garbage!
Games like this and the fact Sony takes risks to provide these expierences to us are why I've become a fan of PS!

voice chat only matters when you have a hardcore gaming console... for the 5 games the console is going to have that are hardcore, Im sure this won't be a problem!

I feel ripped off because I rented RE6 from redbox, I also rented Dishonored which totally reminds me of Bioshock so that makes it a pretty damn fun game...
Im about 20 minutes into Leons campaign and have only about 2 minutes of ACTUAL gameplay... it's WAYYYYY more offensive than the (claimed) massively offensive MGS4 as being a "playable movie"
For the record... I LOVE MGS4
