Just saying in my opinion I feel that was a horrible choice by Nintendo using last gen controllers to convert to a "next gen" console for controllers... I personally find it as a cheap move/cop out...
that and also the remote/nunchuck combo always kills my wrists because of the unweighted balance of having to hold 2 seperate controllers insted of 1. Thus why I never finished a few of the original Wii's good titles.
it's all about the money and less about the game!
I can see this hurting Publishers more than anyone. People will make more concious purchases when it comes to games. These multimillion seller games are going to fall short of their previous entries etc.. because of this, I feel. I'd feel cheated paying $60+ for a download... nothing about it seems smart/safe/worth while...

A plus about 360 is that Im gauranteed to play 2 player on day 1... the wait for a 2ndary tablet controller for my Wii U is getting rediculous!
Honestly Im about 45 minutes in and I feel NONE of the magic that the 1st or the 2nd games had brought to the table... this game gave up horror for co-op/blockbuster action, thus sacrificing what made this franchise awesome to begin with. Im going to rebuy Prey for $10 on 360 than buy this full $60 retail turd... Prey looks equal in graphics and when comparing gameplay/weapons... Prey trounces this game. Aliens still is a awesome movie series though!

If I want to kill Aliens again... I'd rather play the severely dated Prey on my 360 again than to buy this game that looks just the same graphicly and seems more broken than Prey and the gap in release dates between the 2 is astonishing... the dev time of this game and also the amount of expierence Gearbox has had on these now dated consoles. It just don't warrant the quality of the finished product. The HD gameplay videos I've been watching on Youtube look really average/lacklust...
PS2 did amazing with its incredible line up of titles yet alone doubling as a DVD player (which was huge for it's time)
PS3 STILL does amazing showing that its Exclusive titles still evolve graphicly when compared to their competition. Also PS3 was the first Bluray player which is still a huge plus!

Personally I think Gearbox let Duke Nukem rub off on Aliens... (ew would Duke really do that? haha). But seriously I feel this game suffered from what I refer to as the Alan Wake Effect (although I love/own Alan Wake). It just didn't end up getting the praise from a vast majority of gamers... with TONS of gamers saying "for the wait we deserved/wanted more!". I feel Aliens falls into that same mold. I never got into their Borderland games at all, I personally found them boring.....

You pay for what you get... PS3 offered so much more out of the box than the competition along with their exclusive games graphicly looking better! I now am more than confident they will provide equally as good of games and a quality system this time as well!

There were only 2 times I recall truely being blown away by 360 this gen, and that was when Gears 1 dropped and when Alan Wake came out... other than that I've been super impressed by everything on PS3... thus giving me the impression I need to go with PS4 Next Gen for sure!
