Im 110% skeptical of this game. I in no way shape or form will blame the 360 for how GTA4 turned out but Rockstar themselves, they really need to live up to A LOT with this game. I also wonder that if Rockstar is complaining about the sales of GTA4 not meeting their expectations cause of the budget of the game and that is across 2 systems. I've got a feeling Rockstar has wayyyyyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyyyy too much riding on this game to be a success!
gaming companys are showing wayyyyyyyyy too much of their games before release. While Im definatley going to be buying Gears of War 2, LBP, Fable 2, Killzone 2, etc.. I've seen so much of these games way before they are even due out, that it totally demolishes any bit of me being excited for them. Sure they are big games that are going to be super sick, but why do gamers push so much to see the content that badly?. getting MASSIVE upon MASSIVE amounts of shovelware... Nintendo has been LONG overdue on getting worth while exclusives yet alone 3rd party games out the door. System really is a gamecube sized failure that sells to people who don't realize the gimic wears off in a week. I've had the same 4 games for my Wii for I don't know how long (Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Paper Mario, and Smash Brothers), Im really trying hard to wait out for Mad World... but it's really really hard to do..
because they are genuinely excited for this game (as I bet many actually aren't, expecially on this site) or are they just galloping to this story as it's another strike to the 360?

with the PS3 Sony implemented more than they needed to, to make their system do better graphics than 360 (although the games are few and far between = my opinion). We all know how much of a hit Sony took for doing this. Now if Microsoft comes out first again, it will force Sony yet again into action. Forcing them to do the same for PS4, which could even further hurt Sony... Just my thoughts!
Im also pretty sure that the RROD problem 360 had/has kinda balances out the debt Sony ...
that Sony fans are saying "360 had to drop its price just to compete with the PS3, and PS3 is double the cost"... did you people forget how fast PS3 was dropping its price months within its inception? that looks worse than 360 dropping it, years after!. Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain are the kind of visuals I want out of my PS3, I mean that's why the cell is in there right?... I bought my PS3 for $600 and it's taking till 09 to show me games that look anything like what I've been wanting all along!

in every game and should've been since day 1... some experiences I've had with my PS3 games are long over. I've already played the hell outta Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc.. way before these trophies showed up... and it's a little too late to warrant me going back just to earn these, would've been neat though if it could've gone off your saved progress to then just update what you've achieved and then give you trophies instantly... but I'd imagine that'd be too hard?. I was blown away, now Im just getting burnt on the same war concepts being beat to death... I've seen Medal of Honor repeated by numerous devs over and over and over. I've seen WW2 too many times to want to play anything like it again... this is where COD4 stood out cause it was modern... but even then, it becomes the same!. But this applys to many games of every genre!

Sony isn't doing to get people aware of their games...
no matter what games look better on PS3 the ones on 360 still turn out great games for me. I just hope this isn't another ID turd with a nice paint coat on it, like their latest ventures all turned out to be... common ID please make the gameplay match the visuals, you haven't done this since Doom 3!
looks like I will just get this game for PS3 then, but ID games sure are good with graphics but they better take some classes on gameplay cause all their latest games have lacked good stuff in that aspect. My fingers are more crossed that Doom 4 will actually be good!... Doom 3 was enjoyable but left a bad taste in my mouth cause it lacked a lot!
back when I bought the collectors edition for 360 a year ago... feels nice looking at that big daddy on my shelf!. But I can't help but to imagine this game with Killzone 2/Heavy Rain's visuals implemented... holy hell...
I also think Bioshock could very easily hold its own against Resistance this holiday season... how many times do we run through war torn/destroyed cities while killing aliens?... but a whole civilization built underwater with crazed lunatics and weapons that ...
BC... and thank you god for letting me score a 60 gig PS3 when I did... I never owned a PS2, so it has helped me go back and see what Sony fans were raving about!... I feel sorry for all those with any PS3 but the 60, I personally think it would suck!
I can FINALLY make some friends on PSN... cause I haven't yet and I haven't heard any worth while people during any games to even make me break out my bluetooth headset either! kinda sucks cause I love having so many friends on LIVE, would make my gaming expierence more fun on PS3 that's for sure.
