that people get excited when the sequal(s) converts over, Im all for it if PS3 fans can get the whole story from the 1st out of 2 if this does indeed happen, but if not whats the point?
This goes both ways between consoles and their fans... if you don't get the whole story whats the point of getting excited? maybe Im just pickier about it than most!

I didn't like Halo 3, I read up on ODST... wasn't impressed with what I read about ODST and it saved me $60

The games I own for both my consoles all play great regardless if my PS3 titles outshine my 360 ones... but I wish PS3 titles looked better outside of just the exclusives available for the console!
and whats with really f**king awesome titles between systems not selling to meet the hype?... Im not even talking Halo (I personally don't like the game, but I do think it gets too much hate). But for as much praise as most titles are getting from fans/journalists/and fanboys... sale...

the Horde mode thing is why I own Gears 2 and I'd rather play Gears 1 and 2 over Halo 3 and ODST... this game needs to be leaps and bounds over the 2 available games on 360 for me to even take notice!
but I hope it truely lives up to what the fanboys are making it out to be...
cause for me it's just another game to enjoy on my PS3... this don't even have to compete with Forza for me as Im going to own both!
this franchise is my most fav. PS3 has to offer and this game isn't releasing quick enough!
who thinks this franchise just needs to die off already?... and people complain about the Halo franchise getting milked (I dislike Halo myself) but my god... this game holds the crown over ANY!
but personally... the bevy of true PS3 games that trounce 360's in terms of graphics... aren't releasing till next year. With Killzone 2 here and Uncharted there, etc.. There isn't an overwhelming amount of games dropping that are truely forcing any 360 devs. to truely milk it I guess?
Im just trying to be skeptical for the simple fact I do own both consoles and I hope I get to see stuff surpass Alan Wake... I also really hope my 360 even lasts me till then, lol!

I feel the same way when a game goes PS to Xbox also... either get the whole franchise, or get the whole story explained!
