It's just a game, who cares what character your controlling?
Oh, another FPS...
That's really all I can say about this game.
Too bad they can only pet skittles and pretend they're holding a steering wheel.
In a few days, I'll be playing Dead Space Extraction with my Move.
In a few more days, Littlebigplanet 2.
In a few months, Killzone 3 and Sorcery.
You know. Real games... Not preschool games.
Quality > Sales
The whole point of this comment was to make you sound intelligent, but really nobody cares. :(
Mouse + Keyboard support or I'm not even remotely interested.
Is Folding @ Home the same thing as Life with Playstation? I remember I used to have F@H on the XMB but then it went away and LwP showed up. Never knew what happened. /:
jesus christ. nobody seems to be getting the point except for the phantom agrees. some of you must not understand how this thing works. it doesn't just magically charge your controller by sending electricity through the airwaves. your controller has to be in contact with the mat to charge it. charging your controller is still limited to the distance of the cord for the mat.
my real point being, when your controller dies during multiplayer you can still plug it in with the...
There's an app on the Android marketplace to jailbreak your PS3. Comes with the cfw and some homebrew stuff. Costs $5.99.
I'm pretty sure the developer of that app is the only person profiting from the jb. Gehot has been refusing donations since day one.
Our lesson in HHG Grammar for the week. "Realist" is now an adjective and "worse" is the new way to spell "worst."
@MELMAN26
The cord is short, I've admitted that many times. But you're still missing the point. If you don't want to sit two feet from the tv, buy a longer USB cord or get the Sony AC charger for much less than this. You can plug the AC charger into any electrical outlet (the one by your sofa, perhaps?) and charge your controller that way... and still get to play while your controller is charging.
But with the mat, you can't use the controller...
@Ravenor
I think you missed my point. If you don't like sitting 2 feet from your tv, charge it before you play. But at least with the USB cable you can still continue playing even after the battery dies, unlike with the charging mat which requires the controller to lay flat and not be in use.
I personally just charge my controller when I go to sleep. Dualshock 3 battery life is pretty impressive and usually lasts me a few days anyway.
Why does it matter that it's short? At least you can still charge and play at the same time. Good luck trying to play a game while it's charging on one of these.
I think I'll save $50 and stick with my USB cable.
I can install Black Ops to my HDD and play it online too... But it will be the disc I'm playing, not the backup. Why? Because Black Ops backups don't work online without the new patches from Treyarch/Sony/Activision, which can't be installed without messing up the modified EBOOT. Unless you care to explain how you got it working, I'm assuming you're a compulsive liar because this is a stupid thing to lie about.
Edit: I've been following various hacking...
Sony has satellites that monitor your PS3 when it isn't connected to the internet. GPS tracking and everything.
Conspiracy theories are the best.
I refuse to pay $15/month for any game. Especially when I already have to buy the game itself for $40-60. That's just way too much. F2P w/ Micro-transactions are where it's at. Nexon is making a fortune. PS Home has been profitable. Other companies need to pick up on this.
Is this game any good though? What are the system requirements like?
@nycredude
Supply and demand has nothing to do with this, and that's not even what it means.
Supply and demand is the concept where as the demand for something increases, the supply decreases so the price will increases. As the demand for something decreases, the supply will increase so the price will decrease.
Video games very very rarely sell out at stores, so it's not a supply and demand issue.
So if I play a Windows game on a Mac or Linux using Wine or another Windows emulator, is that piracy? If I purchased the game, it doesn't matter what the hell I play it on. And I own a decent physical collection of SNES games...
Edit: There are also emulators all over the Android Marketplace, too. Is Nintendo suing Google or the developers of the GBA or SNES emulator app? Is Sony suing Google or the developers of the PS1 Emulator app?
Sory to be so blunt ...
There has been very little piracy since the 3.55 cfw. The lv 2 security is patched so that backup managers will not work in Geohot's 3.55 cfw. The only successful workaround is repackaged EBOOTS. Few of them are actually working. Pretty much just Castlevania and a select few PSN titles. Right now it's hardly worth the time and effort.
Why Sony is suing this time instead of earlier is beyond me. I guess they just can't fix this with a quick firmware update and go o...
What difference does it make in the real world?
The world that matters.
Nobody went and shot up an airport after playing MW2.
I'd have no problem playing a game where I was the bad guy. Why? Because it's not real. It's nice to see multiple sides of war, too. Just because you think someone is the bad guy doesn't make them the bad guy. They think you're just as bad.
