Pfff Nintendo would rather sink their IPs with them rather than making games for a competing platform. So many idiots shouting "Nintendo is doomed" yet they are in the business for more than 30 years and they are still at the center of the gaming world (Pokémon GO, Zelda Breath of the Wild, amiibo and the NX).
Oh yeah Nintendo hit the mobile gaming market with a bang again. Another big moneymaker for them will be Animal Crossing later this year. More cash for them equals more amazing games for us on the NX :D

Well the xbox was born because the PS1 got so big that it started impacting the PC realm, and ms obviously saw that as a threat thus creating their console to fight back. Heck when the PS1 launched, even Bill Gates said that microsoft engineers liked the machine.
