Pretty much this. The Switch being a portable home console is brilliant. Of the various consoles I own and have ever owned, the Switch is my favorite by far.
I bet you don't complain about exclusives on other consoles.

To be honest I hate the New Donk city level. It's so jarring compared to the rest of the game (so far).
You mean like ARMs, Splatoon, Pokken Tournament, Xenoblade. These are all new IPs.

Achievements and trophies are overrated. They don't add anything to a game.

The Wii U was a terrible console (hardware wise) and that's why I didn't get one. There were a few games I wanted to play, and now I get that opportunity with the Switch.
This will also be a limited run.
No console is technologically innovative. PCs will always surpass them in that department.
It's not about money. After Nintendo wasn't making much profit on the NES classic.
No Pokemon game is getting ported to Switch unfortunately.

That sucks, but at the end of the day I still love my Switch. Even if it only gets first party titles and indie Tories it'll remain my most played system. Third parties are making a huge mistake if they ignore the Switch. Now back to playing Gonner!
