Somehow, I'm not really impressed with the trailer. It doesn't show much of the feature. The wider landscape ? Have seen it before, R1.
But yet again, need to see more about this title.
There are alerady games for Wii.
If they follow Nintendo path, then expect more PSN games that utilizes this controller. Heck, perhaps even rub duck will be able to use this.
Now, Is it possible to create develope Wii games easier if using PS3 as lead platform ? say PSN title ? If yes, then they should thanks Nintendo for all the idea.
@dis...
The fact is the other way around.
Your 'if scenario' will extend to another 'if scenario'. It won't end really.
Stick with the fact, mate.
lol
let us know your PSNID when you get online.
MGS goes multiplatform ? Not likely the path, the chance is slim.
Multidisc DVD9 is likely the limitation, should MGS goes for mplatform.
John Carmack has stated in his Rage development about 360 multidisc in order maintain the same quality as PS3 version.
Well, anyway when MGS5 released, PS3 install based would be surely larger then currently. And it is 2-3 years later.
By then, there is no reason to go to multiplatform, if instal base is the main reason.
...
Preferred blur. It will add more realistic scene, as long as not excessively. It's more subtle to the eye.
@maspi..
Covering low res texture?...Won't we be doing fast pace fighting here? I won't have chance to check that, in fact, motion blur of the sword will attract my eyes more, init?
Nothing much exciting in this GDC.
Felt like 'peeping' to each other microsoft and sony....if one announce something then encounter with another announcement.
However, Sony has more thing in their sleeve, as we know.
Maybe MS is running out the 'budget' to get more DLC or new partner. They have alredy 'bought' pretty much most of the Playstation titles to fueled 360.
Not much left to copy and buy, I guess. Most left scaterred are first/2nd party of Sony exclusive tit...
Microsoft it is.
Sound like Robert Patrick doing voice over.
The voice character relatively similar with David Hayter.
Just in case you don't know, it's used to be PS3 hating. Blue black.
*my wallet*
@kwyjibo..
Yes, that seem to make complete sense too.
I was just basing on the Wii design which Nintendo decided to go about.
It's not really able to compete with PS3/360, tech spec. And the market is totally different demography. Therefore, it's not in direct competition.
By showing direct comparison with PS3/360 sales, they must have a big canonball to propell themself in PS3/360 market demography.
Or I could be wrong...but still interesting to see.
@meep..Agree.
But not only bandwidth though, the routing path and latency will incurs some unpleasant experience.
They must have dedicated synchronized distributed content server to deliver the play. Even so, the nature of terrestrial internet still could disrupt the stream.
For technical network, it is challenging. For game experience, not so much.

That's what I thought too.
I thought they said wii is targeting casual market, and not competing directly with PS3/360.
Now it's interesting to see them positioning itself directly to PS3/360.
I guess it will be tough since both 360/PS3 have potential to grab casual market as well as maintaining the hardcore, in long run.
I remember someone thanks Nintendo to open the casual to gaming, and now those casual will need to "upgrade" their gaming tools. By then, ...
Right, as long as no slowdown during action or whatever intense scene.
Said it's never get below 30fps, then I could really careless and just get into chaos.
My expectation of this title has long gone.
Giving away still pict just can't do it now.
I just hope Alan Wake can live out the night.
any gameplay footage ? please ?
Or rather let the footage clarify the all forever question and curiosity ? No ?
Bebedora, good for you...I'm stuck in the office now.
But I'll do speed running on both GOW/2...a nonstop play.
PS2 and PSP install base will be the major consideration here.
PS3 will be the grand result of next Grand Turismo.
Interconnection of those platform will be the challenge.
" as much as possible in any platform"...that's what I heard.
