A lot of the people at Ruffian worked on the original game, the founders and project leads for example. I wouldn't worry about the looks, as it's not even complete yet and Ruffian stated it'll look much better come release day.

Ensemble made Halo Wars btw. Best console RTS, pc is still the platform for them at present. Hopefully the upcoming Natal/Gem will take the genre further when released.

MS also own Ruffian (Crackdown 2) and Robot (took over from Ensemble when Halo Wars was complete).
You can't really base it on that, as a lot of people just stick games on easy mode and rush through them.

Can't wait to play this, as the reviews it's been getting are incredible. Very surprised about the 5 for Dragon Age, I'll still get it though. I'm just waiting till it gets to the £20-25 mark, as I don't tend to like Medieval style games, even though this one is made by Bioware!
Are the studio I'd personally like to see make games for Natal, so I hope they really get behind it.

You say it won't be that cheap given the price of the wireless adapters and HDD, but you have to consider that they'll make money back from software sold, which doesn't apply to those products you mentioned.
Basically, they'll be looking to get as many Natal units in peoples homes as possible and at this rumoured price it would be easier.
To hear this price point banded about. I was always of the opinion that MS had to be aggressive in the pricing and marketing of Natal, in order make an impact with it. Let's hope it's true!
