If this wasnt AC, and just marketed as a Pirates game, people would be positive about it. But because its part of a yearly franchise (whilst I DO agree they need a break), people feel the need to bash it.

TBH, Connor wasnt all that interesting anyways. Haytham was definitely the most strongest character in AC3
The problem being, AC is still good despite being milked. They bring something new and fresh with each iteration (same cant be said for others like COD).
New characters, new settings, new stories, Ubisoft has all of history at theiur disposal. Its less about the franchise being milked, and more about stories, time periods and settings being explored, and going to places we wanted to go, meeting people we want to meet, and living in periods of time we want to experience.

While I admit the Assassin looks somewhat uninspired given the time era, and am curious as to how this is considered "4", and how this ties in to the Desmond plot, if at all, Im glad we finally have a Pirates game among us after the disappointing cancellation of PotC: Armada of the Damned.

What I dont understand is, why is it numbered? Apparantely its Haythams father, meaning it should be considered a Spin-Off, considering it ties in with AC3.
Either way, im keen for a Pirate-themed game, AC or not.

Im glad Dead Space is done. The first game was amazing, the last two lack luster, and lost what the original had.
TBH, as much as I wanted it, Im glad we dont have a Sequel to Mirror's Edge. God knows how EA wouldve fucked that franchise up aswell.
