It makes sense for the move, MS is located in the U.S. so they are probably going to make a more western themed I.P.. As for above comment even though they scored well on meta, the games sold, or will sell poorly against any MS game. So while MGS4 will try to break 4million units sold after six months, Gears will have sold that many in one month and forget about LBP, that will be lucky to sell 1mil by next Jan. Please omit no advertising, new ip argument its as old as all of your RRoD comment...

The U.S. market is about half of the video game market, and a majority of AAA games are made here now instead of Japan.
But like I pointed out before, it takes three systems just to beat one! That is really not succsess, Wii & DS though, thats succsess.

You want to know why you have not seen many commercials on LBP, because SONY spent the money buying commercials for BR, not much left over in the honey pot. But in defense of SONY, I have seen numerous billboards advertising the game.
Even if the droids try to spin it that LBP is a new ip, when the original GeoW came out it still sold more than double (as a new ip)! And don't try to talk install base, at this point the POS3 has more units out there than the X360 had at the time Gears was released! Holy sh@! on the Wii though, I can't wait for voice chat!

My goodness, the Gamer Zone in this article is like a support group for PS3 owners! Why do you all feel it necessary to validate you gaming choice on every article, buyers remorse?
