Haha yeah, the Ps3 with it's 256Mb Video ram was an embarrassment to the industry...right? The 360 actually had 350 - 400Mb Ram used for video games. Which is why the 360's games looked so much better than the ps3's games.

2GB's is PLENTY for the hardware the WiiU packs inside it. It would be a waste to have anymore, remember, it's not a huge jump over the current gen cons...

The fact that those games where only on 512MB shows how unimportant Ram is in Video games. Of course you need Ram. But having an overabundance of it will not magically improve the important parts of the system. GPU - CPU.

ND said they maxed out the Ps3 3 times now. Atleast EPIC are honest that they didn't fully utilise the 360 for the new gears
5 years ago Sony's own assets were double what they are now too though Panda, few years before almost triple. 5 years for such a big change. Anything could happen between Sony and Samsung in the next 5 years. Apple is completely out of reach though.

No, no it won't be a beast. We have the specs and they are confirmed. It's what you would expect. Nothing more, there are MUCH more powerful 'beasts' out there. Ps4 isn't one and it's not supposed to be. If it was a beast of a system it would defeat the purpose of a console(cheap enough, prebuilt hardware) and would have heating issues. Some GPU's alone cost...
